Són Boom - ‘Buenas Noches’

A song of hushed vocals and warm guitar notes, ‘Buenas Noches’ by Brooklyn band Són Boom is so meditative it should come with a warning: * Your day’s productivity might be impeded. *

It’s a woodsy melody, harmonic and woozy, with a sentiment of soul caressing at its core. This sentiment is seemingly in keeping the art collective, A mini Tribe, they knock about with / are signed to.

A note on the track from group leader Aya Tello reads “hopefully you love/cry/dance/eat/laugh/make sweet love to it.” Only one of those things has happened today, well, while listening to ‘Buenas Noches’.

Here’s a live jam from the band, more country-rock folk with a tropical leaning.
